Getting to Quadra Island is a bit of a journey - but well worth the effort.

 

If you're coming from the mainland (Vancouver), you'll have to catch either the Tsawassen or Horseshoe Bay ferry to Vancouver Island, then drive north on Highway 19 >>> if you're feeling keen to mosey, you can follow the scenic route on Highway 19A starting in Parksville (follow the signs with the starfish). If you're already on Vancouver Island, just follow the yellow line north to Campbell River.

Once you reach Campbell River, follow the signs to the ferry, buy a ticket to Quadra, and cross your fingers that the ferries are functioning!
